Trump abandoned the American people he was sworn to protect.

Aside from bungling the initial COVID response and denying it for months, allowing 100,000 Americans to die before June, he then GAVE UP ENTIRELY. He chose to “stand back and stand by” while 300,000 MORE people died before he left office.

For over 7 months, he didn’t attend a single COVID meeting. Hosted super-spreader maskless rallies instead. Blocked vaccine money to the states, to punish them for being “mean” to him. No press conferences to reassure and advise the American people. Explicitly discouraged people from wearing masks. Threatened to fire staff members who pushed for mask-wearing.

Focused all his energy on his “big lie” about election fraud, and on inciting an insurrection to try to become king. What a pathetic excuse for a human being…
